Is Kashla free?
Yes. Manual logging, the budget, the calendar and goals are free forever. Kashla Plus adds unlimited voice capture, receipt scanning, bank-message import, the Apple Pay and Siri shortcuts, split-the-bill and starting a shared budget. Joining someone else’s shared budget is free.
How do I cancel or manage Kashla Plus?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Open iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Kashla, and cancel or change the plan there. Cancelling keeps Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
I paid but Plus is not active
Open the paywall (the crown, or any locked tool) and tap Restore purchases while signed into the Apple ID that bought it. If it still shows as inactive, email us with the date of purchase — never your Apple ID password.
Where is my data? Can I export it?
On your phone and in your own iCloud, unless you share a budget. Deleting the app removes the local copy; reinstalling brings the iCloud copy back. Export is on the roadmap; until then, the History tab shows every expense.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app, then remove Kashla’s data from your iCloud (Settings › Apple ID › iCloud › Manage Storage) so a reinstall brings nothing back. If you were in a shared budget, leave it first from Profile › Budget together so your expenses are removed from the household, or email us and we will remove them.
Voice logging doesn’t hear me
Check Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone and Speech Recognition are on for Kashla, and that the phone’s dictation language matches what you speak. Kashla understands Arabic and English amounts like “coffee 5 dollars and gas 45”.
